Boeing B747 Jumbo Jets Are The Airlines Still In Use Today

Pan Am was the first airline to own a Boeing 747 aircraft. The Boeing 747 has been the favorite aircraft model of almost every major airline ever since.

Recently, British Airways gave an emotional farewell to the last Boeing 747 aircraft on their flight, which received a lot of news media attention. Only a handful of airlines now own Boeing 747's passenger jumbo jets. Let's see what they are.

1. Air China - Air China, China's national flag carrier, currently operates eight Boeing B747-400 passenger aircraft. They are about 25 and a half years old. They currently operate on domestic routes and European routes such as Madrid and London. Air China has not announced when it will retire its 8 Boeing B747-400 aircraft. In addition, Air China uses B747-8 model aircraft.

2. Asiana Airlines - Asiana Airlines, a South Korean airline, operates a Boeing B747-400 passenger aircraft. The aircraft has eight Royal Business First Class seats at the front. The aircraft, 22 years old and with registration number HL-7428, is currently in service to China.


3. China Airlines - China Airlines, Taiwan's flag carrier, operates four Boeing B747-400 aircraft. These 15-year-old planes have not operated passenger services since the arrival of the Corona. 7. Mahan Air - There is a Boeing B747-400 aircraft at Mahan Air based in Tehran, Iran. The 31-year-old aircraft currently operates on domestic routes. There is no clear understanding of whether this aircraft will retire from service.

8. Rossia - Russian airline Rossia Airlines operates 9 Boeing 747-400 aircraft. These 20-year-old aircraft operated daily until before the Corona expansion.

9. Thai Airways - Thailand's flag carrier Thai Airways Fleet has eight Boeing B747-400 aircraft. The 21-year-old aircraft will be out of service from the end of March 2020. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

10. Air India - Air India, the national flag carrier of India, has four Boeing B747-400 aircraft in its fleet. These aircraft, which are about 25 years old, are still well equipped.
