Service with masked aircraft; Garuda Indonesia has gained world attention

 

The face mask is now a constant companion in our lives. Mask is one of the best ways to prevent the virus from entering our body. There is a lot of awareness going on around the world to raise awareness among people about the need to wear a mask. The following is a list of different awareness programs.

What if planes wear masks just like people wear masks? A flying plane wearing a mask. Isn't the event cool? Garuda Indonesia, Indonesia's national flag carrier, has come up with such an interesting idea. As the saying goes, the plane is not really wearing a mask, instead it is beautifully painted. The mask is painted on the front of five Garuda planes. Garuda Indonesia has chosen this method to make people aware of the need to wear a mask as part of the 'Ayo Pakai Mask' (Let's Wear a Mask) campaign with the support of the Indonesian government.

The 'masked' flights will be operated on domestic services and services to countries such as Singapore and Japan. About 60 people worked for more than 120 hours to paint the masks on five of Garuda's planes.

In addition, Garuda Indonesia held a competition called 'Fly Your Design Through The Sky' to design the mask to be worn on the aircraft. In this, Garuda chose to draw on the plane the design created by Jailani

If flights can be masked, why not people? How much easier is it for humans to wear a mask? There is no cost and the spread of the disease can be prevented. Garuda's idea has been widely adopted by Indonesians and the rest of the world.
